Like the Sun🌤

“Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain’t goin’ away.”-Elvis Presley

Truth is most often explained as a fact or reality and is sometimes defined as “truth to self”. Telling the truth expresses who we are, what we believe in and the qualities we aim to achieve. For many people, the truth may not have an important part in their daily routine. But, that doesn’t mean that the person is a horrible and insensitive one. It simply means that he/she has not yet to see the its significance and how deeply it affects us on various levels. Firstly, it affects the way people view us, as well as the way we view other people and matters. HOWEVER, when we introduce the truth to our to-do list, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we should become cruel insensitive people who are careless of other people’s feelings. Never forget the very thin line that lies between truth and disrespect. “If something can’t be changed within one minute then don’t mention it.” But if it’s something that can change a person’s life and benefit him/her then do mention it. Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven not forgotten. Don’t blurt something out then spend the entire next week regretting it, just don’t say it in the first place. Also, think about what you’re going to say before you say it; you never know how deeply your words can hurt someone. So why not be precautious and guarantee being the cause of someone’s happiness and acceptance. “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”-Buddha

“Truth is like a surgery. It hurts but cures. Lie is like a pain killer. It gives instant relief but has side effects forever.”
