Heart vs Mind🖤

⚡️“Mind vs heart, an unavoidable battle.” Sometimes our mind is in war with our heart, our mind knows something while our heart feels something else. The mind is the powerhouse of our body, it is rational and smart and controls every muscle in our body; except for our heart which has a mind of its own. Often, following our heart results in us losing our mind just like following our heart sometimes results in having our heart shattered. Something not many are aware of is that sometimes our heart needs more time to accept what our mind already knows. If you ever want to find out where your mind is at, watch your words and if you ever want to find out where your heart is, watch your actions. We, as the weak humans we were made, are often stuck between our strong mind and fragile heart. There comes a lot of times when your head and heart desire different things at once; but when it’s truly difficult is when they desire a thing and its opposite at the same time knowing that they could never have both. The most confused we ever get is when our mind starts creating barriers that harm our heart and mess with our thoughts. This war zone is the main source of depression for millions of people everywhere because it is a battle that is ruthless, destructive and sometimes unsolvable. Heart vs mind, heart hurts and mind screws, which does one choose? no one knows the answer to that. Sometimes we can’t figure out what it is that we truly want, we are lost in our thoughts, wandering around without any direction or with a thousand different directions not having a clue of what to choose. It is okay to be lost, it also is okay to not know what it is you want. It’s exhausting, dreadful and full of pressure but you can get through anything you put your mind to. People may not always understand and handle your uncertainty, they might get hurt, they might give up and leave. But that’s okay too. We all have hearts and minds, we all think differently and feel differently but what hurts, hurts for us all. A person knows love with his mind and feels it with his heart, same with trust, pain and lies. You never know what a person is going through, therefore you can’t blame them for their decisions and especially not when they have a reason. Yes, my brain has no heart and my heart has no brain. That is why when I speak my mind I can sound heartless and when I do what’s in my heart I seem thoughtless. But life is life, it is short and gives no second chances. Just breathe and let everything go with the flow. Whatever will be will eventually be, thus there is no need for the rush and the pressure. If you truly love someone, wait for them, understand them and give them what they need, whether it is space, time or a break. Something mischievous about our mind is that it often believes whatever it is told just for the sake of knowing, without questioning the credibility of what is being said; and same goes to our heart, it believes rapidly without a second guess. Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots. With rumors, you often find out so much about you that you didn’t even know🤦🏼‍♀️. Interference in other people’s business just widens the black hole and feeds it more and more lies. Let it be.Just leave it. Everything will eventually work itself out. Privacy and kindness are the greatest weapons that can be used to solve any obstacle along your way. Never forget the balance that you have to maintain within your soul, between your mind and heart. “The mind strengthens the heart, one is ruled by reason and the other by raw emotion, but together they build us into something beautiful: A human being.”
