What most people seize to understand is that “home” isn’t always a place. Home is wherever your heart is, whether a human, an animal, or anything else man could love. Home is a feeling. Land is nothing when it comes to spirit. You don’t fall in love with a place, you fall in love with its spirit; just like you don’t fall in love with a person, you fall in love with a soul. Everything is about spirit. You fall in love with feelings, with how a place made you feel, with how a person made you laugh. It is utterly astonishing when you come to realize that land without life is just like a man with no soul. Every body owns a soul right? Yes, but not every soul owns a body. In other words, we are not bodies with souls, we are souls in bodies. Therefore, before starting to work on our bodies, we must begin to work on our soul. A soul is made up of nothing but a mind and a heart. The two most powerful creations to ever know existence. Their beauty is in their oblivion. The unknown. Many people fear the unknown, for many people like things that are concrete, just like the sea. Everyone knows what it is, and I think that is why they are scared of the unknown. They simply don’t know it, they can’t touch it, they can’t see it, thus they can’t stop it from changing. Change is never easy, we always have to fight; sometimes to hold on and sometimes to let go. The message isn’t always hidden, sometimes reading between the lines too much prevents you from seeing what is right in front of your eyes. It is you who over complicates, you who over analyzes and you who over feels. This energy that we have within us should be saved for when it is truly needed. Stop acting like it’s you against the world, because more often than not, it’s you against yourself. There is so much more food that you haven’t tasted, so many songs that you haven’t yet listened to, weird conversations that you haven’t had, seas you haven’t seen, animals you haven’t discovered, books you’ve never read and people you haven’t met. Earth is incredible, life is beautiful and definitely worth living.
