A Thousand Hours

Where would you spend a thousand hours? On what would you spend ten thousand more? Who would you want to spend the rest of your life with? You might not have answers to all of these questions, but one day you will. Someday you will know exactly who you want to grow old with, exactly what you want to do everyday for the rest of your life, and exactly where you want to live and accomplish your dreams. When will you know? I don’t have a clue. No one does. But what difference would it make? If you did know, the only difference would be that you’ll be living just for that day to come, while wasting irreplaceable time from your current life. You shouldn’t live your life waiting for a day to happen, let alone a moment. Get to know the people you love better, the places you love, the things you love. Get to know yourself better. Because if you still can’t answer any of these questions then you still have a lot of learning to do.

Do you like to dance in the rain? What scares you the most?Which song makes you the happiest? What’s your favorite thing to do? Who’d you take a bullet for? What do you want your legacy to be? What do you want to leave behind for the world? You might never get the real answer to some of the harder questions, but then again what is life for if not for trying endlessly?
