Paradox

Paradox: (n) a seemingly absurd statement which when investigated turns out to be true.

Just because of ego, we lose someone we care about. Just because of bad temper, we hurt someone whose only intention was to love us. Just because of our anger, we take for granted the people who care most about us. We feel pain, and think the only option is to pass it to someone else.

Someone who would move mountains for us, carry us when our feet can’t anymore, and empty a special place in the heart just for us; doesn’t deserve to be treated that way. People tend to realize after a while, that the people they pushed away were the only ones who wanted to stay. It is mostly loss that teaches us the value of things. Some people only realize the value of something when they lose it. Those we love, don’t have to be with us all the time, but when they are needed you know they’ll be there. They walk beside us everyday, some days they may be unseen or unheard, but they’re still there. You can love someone and not stand them at the same time. But that doesn’t change the fact that that person once made you feel safe, happy and loved. But there is only so much you can do, you can’t give 110% and receive a 10%. “Isn’t it ironic? We ignore the ones that love us, love the ones that ignore us, hurt the ones who love us, and love the ones who hurt us.” Just know that you are loved, and if you don’t feel it right know, you will soon. Believe it or not, happiness is on the look out to find you, so don’t sweat it💜
